| The Finance Ministry
has overall oversight of church financial
resources. In consultation with our pastor this
ministry assists in the development and design
of the church’s annual budget, strategic plan
and long range financial strategy. All
financial transactions for the church are
centralized under the Finance Ministry, which is
comprised of the following components: |

Ministry |
| The Finance Ministry
serves as part of the Operational Ministry of
Pleasant Grove Church. This ministry supports
Pleasant Grove Church by recording, processing,
and maintaining an accurate record of income
received and all monies expended. This ministry
oversees the banking and disbursement of all
church funds; and with the pastor facilitates
the annual audit of church books. The Finance
Ministry is lead by the elected ministry
chairs. The ministry chairs are members of the
Church Council. |

| Bookkeeper
|
| The Bookkeeper will
enter account payables and deposits other than
contributions into Power Church Plus. This
position runs computer checks and prepares
payables for signatures, weekly check register
reports and contribution statement report,
reconcile bank statements monthly. This position
also runs payroll reports quarterly and yearly
for Federal and State and file payroll taxes for
Federal (monthly) and State (quarterly). The
Bookkeeper processes payroll checks for weekly
and monthly employees, and prepares 1099's and
W2's yearly. The Bookkeeper secures and manages
financial/employment paperwork for employees.
The Bookkeeper serves under the supervision of
the Treasurer. |

Tellers |
| Tellers assist in the
account receivable process by collecting,
counting, verifying and recording collection for
every worship service. All offerings taken at
any church service for any occasion shall be
deposited in the general treasure at time of
collection. The offering taken at the Pastor’s
Anniversary service will be exempt from the
proceeding policy. |
