The Family Life ministry established in January 2008
was formed to offer care, provide support and nurture
spiritual development to assist in building strong and
healthy Christian families for active involvement in
Christian life. The Family Life ministry will offer a
family friendly ministry that is Bible based,
Christ-centered, Ministry-minded and Community-conscious.
All components of the
Family Life Ministry focuses on meeting the spiritual,
educational, recreational, and social needs of Christians.
We are in a covenant relationship with our Lord and Savior,
Christ Jesus; our pastor; each other; other ministry
leaders; and the congregation to carry out the mission and
vision of Pleasant Grove Church, while guided by the Holy
Spirit and the principles of our purpose statement.
The Family Life 2010 ministry’s goal is to: Impact
church membership, worship attendance, giving, participation
in ministry and evangelism by engaging 75% of PGC family
units and 100 new families in Christian fellowship and
forums. This ministry includes a family wellness center;
pastor care and family care teams, and support circles.
The Family Life ministry consists of Servant Leaders.
All Servant Leaders strive to accomplish the FLM goal by
carrying out all objectives.

Objectives are: |

To provide
information, educate, train and engage the family of
believers into regular Family-friendly; Bible-based;
Christ-center; Ministry-minded; and
Community-conscious activities regularly.

To connect and partner
with community base organizations that provides
appropriate prevention and treatment services to
families when needed. |

To develop Servant
Leaders Teams to carry out Family Life ministry
plan. |
|
|
To evaluate
effectiveness and excellence in service for impact
and transformation by surveys. |
